40 Years of Dedication and Compassion at Pine Grove Healthcare

This month, we’re thrilled to shine a well-deserved spotlight on Kathy, one of our incredible STNAs at Pine Grove Healthcare, who has been part of our family for nearly 40 years! Kathy’s unwavering commitment and kind heart have left an unforgettable mark on residents and staff alike.



When asked about her time at Pine Grove, Kathy shared, “My favorite part of being here is how the administrative staff treats us and the teamwork among my coworkers. I truly enjoy taking care of people every day. What I look forward to the most is seeing the residents smile, talking with them, and hearing them ask how I’m doing. The most rewarding part of my job is when residents smile, say thank you, and ask if I’ll be back tomorrow.”

Though retirement is on the horizon, Kathy admits it won’t be easy to say goodbye after nearly four decades. Her ability to adapt to change has been a key to her longevity: “Life is all about changes—it changes all the time, and I handle it pretty well.”

Our Director of Nursing praises Kathy for always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. She’s the first to jump in when something needs to be done, embodying teamwork and integrity every day.
