Employee of the Year 2023

It is with great honor and admiration that we congratulate Latisha Colbert, STNA, for being Pine Grove's Employee of the Year! There is no better candidate than Tish. She embodies the spirit of our community, and our residents and staff members adore her. Latisha is a hardworking, compassionate, diligent, and skilled professional, and we thank her for representing everything we stand for at Pine Grove.

Latisha's love for her job centers around the residents, and she's always willing to lend a helping hand. Residents praised her for being helpful, loving, and a constant source of positivity, sharing, "She will take extra time with me if I am feeling down." "Tish smiles every day, all day," shared another grateful resident.

Her colleagues highlighted her leadership and unwavering dedication. "We hit the lotto when Tish came on board," shared a thankful team member. Tish's commitment to mentoring new hires and taking on any task has had an immeasurable impact. Her infectious smile brightens everyone's day!



Tish humbly accepts the award, giving proper thanks to her entire team. "I feel good about being chosen Employee of the Year but I could not have done it without my Pine Grove Team. It is seriously all about teamwork, and I love my team! With everyone from the leadership down to floor staff, everyone pitches in. There is so much appreciation shown to the floor staff and even to the residents, which is what I love even more."

Tish has been a longtime faithful employee of Pine Grove, first obtaining her STNA license in 1998. "It was the best thing I ever did. I love my job and came to Pine Grove thanks to fellow employee Tiffinnee K. She had nothing but positive things to say about Pine and I wanted to see for myself." We couldn't be happier that Tish chose our skilled nursing facility.
